Make A Wish!

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend! It's spring break this week for my girls, and we're hoping the weather will be nice! I recently ordered the "Big Birthday Wishes" stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, and I've made some simple cards using this stamp set that I'll be sharing on my blog this week.  Here's the first one:

This is a really cool stamp set! It has various sizes of sentiments which make for some great card designs! 

In addition to this stamp set, I used these products to make this card:

• Pink Paislee Hey Kid striped paper
• Simon Says Stamp A2 Card Curved Edge Die
• American Crafts Zing "Rouge" Embossing Powder (for the Make A  Wish!)
• VersaMark Ink
• Memento Inks (Dandelion, Tangelo, Teal Zeal, Angel Pink, & Lady Bug
• Clear Wink of Stella Brush Tip (used on the candle flames)
• Enamel Dots

Hello My Friend

For today's post, I've made a card using papers from American Crafts 6 x 6 paper pad I found at Michael's Craft store sometime ago. Here it is:

I love how well the papers from this pad can be mixed for some beautiful card designs! In addition to these papers, I used the following materials:

Happy Birthday Card

Happy Monday, everyone!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I have a simple birthday card to share today. Here it is:

I love 6 x 6 paper pads, and I have quite a few of them in my stash.  These papers are from the My Mind's Eye "My Girl" collection.  I found them some time ago at Michael's craft store, and I love all of the fun patterns and colors in this pad.  I cut strips of the papers into banners and adhered them to a patterned paper base.  Here are the other materials I used:

• Happy Birthday Dies from Simon Says Stamp
• White Card Stock by the Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
• Enamel Dots
• Tombo Adhesive
• Tombo Mono Multi Liquid Glue
• Satin Ribbon

Card Using Distress Inks and Stencils

I hope everyone is doing well! Sharing a card today that I made using distress inks and stencils. Here it is:

One of the great effects I love when using distress inks is the different colors from blending just a few inks together. Adding stencils really elevates the look! I used the following products to make this card:

Friday Focus: Cards with Tag Sentiments

Hi everyone!

I've got a few cards for today's post using Simon Says tags for my card sentiments. Check them out:

I used a mixture of patterned papers from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss pad and added a punched butterfly with a button and yellow and white bakers twine.

I added some chevron washi tape on the bottom of the tag to give it some flair.

The above card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by Kristina Werner. I used papers from the Simple Stories Color Vibe pad, chipboard letters by American Crafts from my stash, and black and white bakers twine on the tag.
