Thinking of You: Summer Garden

Hi crafters!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. I made this card for a family member who recently lost their mother. I'm hoping it will cheer her during this difficult time.

I used a stamp and coordinating die set by Mama Elephant for Simon Says Stamp, "Summer Garden". I colored then using Zig Clean Color bush pens. Background paper is from Pink Paisley "Hey Kid" and the sentiment is from the Winnie and Walter "Big Bold You" stamp set.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, and I hope you have a blessed weekend!

Spring Colors: Watercolor & Distress Ink

Hi crafters!

Since I've gotten the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, I've been trying them out with some of my older stamps. I love watercoloring, and these markers are great for soft or vibrant watercolor designs. Here are two card designs using these markers that make me think of Spring:

I used the Watercolor Friendly Flowers and Dies, "Artful Flowers", from Simon Says Stamp.

I stamped a bunch of flowers on watercolor paper using VersaMark Ink, then heat set them with Hero Arts white embossing powder. I had some fun coloring with a variety of markers and my water brush. After I cut out the flowers with the coordinating dies, I arranged them on some panels I colored using Tim Holtz distress inks, added sentiments and some sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

I'm Back - Inspired by Color Challenge

Hello crafters!!

Yes, I've been away for several months due to some physical limitations and personal life changes, but I'm back today (blogging from bed). Lately I've been inspired by posts I've seen on Instagram for the Daily Marker's 30 Day Color Challenge (thank you, Kathy!), so I dusted off my craft table to do some coloring. I made a few cards to share today:

I colored these succulents from Simon Says Stamps using the Zig Clean Color brush makers (I love these markers). Here's a list of materials I used for both cards:

- Greetings and Succulents with Die (Simon Says Stamps)
- Sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Summer Garden
- Zig Clean Color Brush Markers
- Fine Tip Water Brush
- Me and My Big Ideas Mambi Sheets
- Simple Stories DIY Boutique Paper
- Tim Holtz Water Color Cardstock
- VersaMark Ink
- Hero Arts White Embossing Powder
- Vellum
- Simon Says Stamp Clustered Leaves Die
- Simon Says Stamp A2 Card Curved Edge Die
- Darice Sequins
- Ranger Multi Medium Matte glue
- Uniball Signo White Pen

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope to be back again when I'm able to. Until then, I hope you have a great crafty day! Hugs!!!
