Hugs from me to you: SSS Spring Flowers

Happy Friday, everyone!

My card today was made using the Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers set. When the set was originally released it did not have coordinating dies, but now it does! 😃 I'm not good at fussy cutting and die cuts are very helpful. Here's my card:

Here's a list of the products I used:

- SSS Spring Flowers stamps
- SSS Spring Florals Shapes
- Lawn Fawn Stripey Backdrop Die
- Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock
- Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Viloet)
- SSS Painted Hugs Die
- WPlus9 Dahlia Stamp (sentiment)
- Hero Arts White Embossing Powder
- Pretty Pink Posh Clear Seqins
- Multi Medium Matte Glue
- Tombow Mono Glue

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I appreciate your kind comments!

Have a blessed day!

With Thanks: WPlus9 Freehand Florals

Hello everyone!

Today's blog post features my card made using the WPlus9 Freehand Florals stamps and coordinating die set:

I was inspired by Dawn's YouTube video showing how to do stamp layering and die cutting with this set. I also used Press n' Seal wrap to hold my die cut images in place before adhering them to the card. Here's a list of the products I used:

- WPlus9 Freehand Florals stamp and die set
- WPlus9 Beautiful Bouquet Ranunculus Clear Stamp set
- SSS Hybrid Ink Cubes
- SSS Diagonal Stripe Stencil
- Tim Holtz Round Blending Tool and round sponges
- Hero Arts White Embossing Powder
- Vellum (Recollections)
- Press n' Seal Wrap
- 1/8 inch Score-Tape
- Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue
- SSS Stitched Rectangle Dies
- Pretty Pink Posh Clear Seqins
- Tombo Multi Medium Matte Glue

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I appreciate your kind comments!

Have a blessed day!

Thanks: Distress Ink Stenciling

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend! I recently purchased a stencil honeycomb by Prima from Hobby Lobby to use with my distress inks. Here's my finished card:

I was trying a tone-on-tone technique I've seen from other crafters. On Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor paper, I sponged a light layer of distress inks: Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Peacock Feathers.

I then taped the stencil down over the watercolor paper and heavily sponged those same distress inks onto the
panel.

To finish the card design, I used the following products:

- Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle and Circle dies
- Pretty Pink Posh straight line stiched die
- WPlus9 Doodle Buds stamps and died
- VersaMark Ink
- Hero Arts White Embossing Powder
- Tim Holtz Distress Mini Inks: Spun Sugar, Twisted Citron, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, and Mustard Seed
- "thanks" die from Hobby Lobby
- Darice Crystal and Iridescent sequins

Thank you SO much for stopping by! I wish you all a Happy Easter! "He is risen!"
