Winnie and Walter Flowers + Hiatus

Happy Monday, everyone!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend! I have a card to share today using flower stamps from the Winnie and Walter "The Big, The Bold & Extras" set. It will be my last card to share for a little while because I will be having Carpel Tunnel Surgery on my right hand tomorrow. Here's my card:

I stamped the flowers and leaves repeatedly onto some Tim Holtz Watercolor paper using VersaMark Onyx Black ink. I watercolored the flowers and leaves using my Kuretake Zig clean color brush markers 025 Pink, 041 Light Green, and my fine tip waterbrush. I used  the SSS A2 size curved die to cut my watercolored panel and matched it with some light green paper from the Simple Stories DIY boutique 6x6 pack.

I adhered the papers to a top folding A2 sized card base, added my embossed sentiment (from WPlus9 Doodle Buds) on the bottom of card with an extra flower I watercolored and fussy cut. Finished the card with some Clear Wink of Stella on the flowers and adhered some sequins by Darice using Multi Medium Matte glue.

Thank you SO much for stopping by! I hope to recover soon so I can get back to crafting! Have a blessed week!

Thanks: Distress Ink Stenciling

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend! I recently purchased a stencil honeycomb by Prima from Hobby Lobby to use with my distress inks. Here's my finished card:

I was trying a tone-on-tone technique I've seen from other crafters. On Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor paper, I sponged a light layer of distress inks: Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Peacock Feathers.

I then taped the stencil down over the watercolor paper and heavily sponged those same distress inks onto the
panel.

To finish the card design, I used the following products:

- Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle and Circle dies
- Pretty Pink Posh straight line stiched die
- WPlus9 Doodle Buds stamps and died
- VersaMark Ink
- Hero Arts White Embossing Powder
- Tim Holtz Distress Mini Inks: Spun Sugar, Twisted Citron, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, and Mustard Seed
- "thanks" die from Hobby Lobby
- Darice Crystal and Iridescent sequins

Thank you SO much for stopping by! I wish you all a Happy Easter! "He is risen!"

Simon Says Stamp: Friendship Blooms

Hello friends!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their day! I made a few cards using the SSS Friendship Blooms stamps and dies. They are great for watercoloring, and the sentiments are very sweet!

I colored the stamped images with distress inks (Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber and Abandon Coral). I then die cut the images and layered them on cards using 3D foam adhesive and Multi Medium Matte glue. I finished each card with a stamped sentiment, added some Clear Wink of Stella and sequins.

Thank you SO much for stopping by! Have a blessed day!

Wplus9 Ranunculus Watercolor

Hi crafters!!

Hope you're enjoying your weekend! I've been really loving this Ranunculus stamp by Wplus9. It works well with a variety of coloring mediums. I used distressed inks for this card design:

I stamped the image a few times on Tim Holtz Distressed watercolor paper using VersaMark ink, then heat set it with Hero Arts white embossing powder.

I watercolored the images using my Ranger Artist brushes and Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, and Tumbled Glass.

I die cut the watercolored image using the Simon Says Stamp Stiched Rectangle die. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of vellum and heat embossed it using Hero Arts white embossing powder. I adhered the vellum on the back of the watercolored paper, then adhered the finished piece to a top folding A2 size card. Added some sequins using Multi Medium Matte glue, and clear Wink of Stella glitter for some sparkle.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a blessed evening!

Watercolor Flowers

Hi crafters!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I did some therapeutic watercoloring to take my mind off of some physical challenges I've been dealing with lately. Here's my finished card:

I stamped these flowers by Penny Black Efflorescence stamp set onto Tim Holtz watercolor paper using VersaMark ink then heat set it using Hero Arts White embossing powder. I watercolored the flowers using Distressed inks (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, and Tumbled Glass).

I die cut the "hello" (Little Yellow Bicycle) from the top panel and sponge colored it using the Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry inks. I used the Simon Says stitched rectangle die on my watercolored panel and adhered it to an A2 size top folding card. I attached the word die to the negative space, stamped the "my friend" (Stampendous Happy Messages) below it, and finished the card with sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a blessed weekend!

Day 30 of the Daily Markers Color Challenge

Happy first day of March, everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great day! I've been participating in Kathy's 30 Day Color Challenge on my Instagram for the Daily Marker. Physical limitations have made it difficult to color everyday, but I've enjoyed working on some coloring as well as seeing some beautiful creations by other super talented crafters! Thank you, Kathy for inspiring us to use various means of coloring! Here are a few cards I've made for day 30:

This card was made using stamps from Clearly Besotted "Wild Thing" and Simon Says Stamp "Tag Sayings" (for the balloons). I used the Zig Clean Color brush markers to color the images. Papers are by MFT "Wild Prints".

The second card was made using stamps from Fiskars "Latte Love" also colored using Zig Clean Color brush markers. Papers are from Simple Stories DIY Boutique.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! It means a lot to me! I hope you all have a very blessed day!
